"Ice" has referred both to 4MAR and to extremely pure methamphetamine or amphetamine HCl, generally stereospecific as well (dextroamphetamine or dextromethamphetamine) "methedrine" referred to methamphetamine tablets, yes, but these havent been on the market for quite some time that I am aware of - perhaps the situation is different in other countries. What is available in he USA now is "Desoxyn", which i believe is time-released methamphetamine (its suspended in a plastic gradumet). levorotary methamphetamine (levomethamphetamine, l-methamphetamine, l-desoxyephedrine) is also available over-the-counter by exemption here, as "Vicks Inhalers" and many generics. Extraction can really only get you in trouble, as I just cant picture some cop out there with optical filters to determine the rotation... although I have heard of people using them as cut in d-methamphetamine produced by the reduction of l-ephedrine or d-pseudephedrine, sometimes just as cut, other times to create effects familiar to users of methamphetamine produced from reductive amination of phenylacetone (P2P) and methylamine. Of course, most hard drug addicts couldn't care less, as they will put any color or odor of substance up their nose, in spite of being told that the substance ought to be a clear white powder... sad really, to think of the untold lives ruined by contaminents... ==================================================================== From: (Samson) Subject: Re: Ice Date: 1997/09/19 Newsgroups: alt.drugs.hard In article <3421ed37.5278402@news.wincom.net>, sfh666luna wrote: > ice - freebase meth No. The free base is a liquid.
