Subject: Sadistic Pharmacists

Anyone ever run into this?

A long time ago...in a faraway place..I had access to many, many
pharmaceutical drugs.  One day, one of my connects called me at
my dorm room (Struggling student, I was) and asked me to come
over...said he had "Something Special" and wanted my opinion of
it (he didnt use...was strictly in it for the money).

Well

This sounded like a Good Thing, so I ambled on over..And there,
on his desk, sat a bottle marked MERCK COCAINE HYDROCLORIDE...Yes
friends...The Motherlode...a bottle of pharmaceutical pure Coke. 
I belive it was a 1 oz bottle.

So, realizing it was pure...something I have never encountered
before..I laid out a tiny line..Figuring I could always do more
later...and snorted it.

14 hours later

I found myself in detox...wearing paper clothes....talking to a
counseler who I was SURE was my girlfriend.

Somehow, I talked my way out of there ( I think I said I had a
final exam the next day, Either that or she liked me, cause there
a 3 day minimum stay in detox).

I couldnt see straight for a week.

Had the drug analyzed...Found out it was 100% pure Scopolamine. 
The pharmacist evidently figured that if some junkie ever robbed
or burglerized his store, would spot this and snort some on the
spot rendering himself useless.

I wonder...Is this unusual?  Do Many pharmacists lay such traps??

Anyway, my connect ending up cutting the stuff 20 to 1 and
selling it as XYZ. Was a Huge success...tho more then a few
people ended up in the hospital

I have more details if anyone is interested.
