They're the most sought after 'script dope in the States!! The PDR probably advises against for both of the reasons you mention, but frankly, if you're particularly concerned about your health or prolonged lifespan, you shouldn't really be shooting drugs should you?? The first nasty part of shooting dillies is crushing them. They're so damn hard and small, I never found a way to crush them without shooting precious bits all over the workspace. The further you crush them, the easier time you'll have cooking them down. The second nasty part is the colored wax. I gather that dillies fifteen years ago or so had no wax and were easily injectable. Modern dilaudids though are covered with the shit. If you have fours and they haven't changed they're orange. After you've cooked them into solution, take care to use a decent sized and well wadded filter to remove as much wax as possible. I've never had any ill effects, but have heard of nasty abscesses when veins are missed. No matter how much you strain the solution, it will still be a bright orange in the rig. As for dose, that's a matter of opinion. Most experienced IV dope chippers would probably start with one 4, but I couldn't tell you personally as I never did them without a substantial habit beforehand. Personally, as the high is shorter than dope and they're so in demand (whatever croaker wrote for those is a gold mine, make him for all you can before he loses his license), I'd sell them and buy dope instead (or smarter yet, no drugs at all). Here in NY 4's go for around $8 apiece wholesale, $15-20 apiece retail. In much of the country they go for up to $50 each retail. Think about it... ==================================================================== From: Jackson Subject: Re: IV Dilaudid Date: 1996/11/12 newsgroups: alt.drugs.hard > I haven't done dilaudid in a long time.....but the way I used to do > them was to crush them up in a dollar bill or something, draw some > warm water into the syringe, pull the plunger out and pour the > powdered d's in, then replace the plunger and "cold shake" it until > it's completely dissolved. Like you said we would draw up Hot water and drop a pill in the Syringe body. Then shake, rattle and shoot! They "were" totally water soluble and looked like a small saccharin tab. Those days were awhile ago as they went Color coded and more Buffer(Cornstarch, saccharin, yellow dye No#?,ect.com) though you can still do get the ol pins & needles, they do leave residue behind now and are not completely water soluble though the Hydromorphone still is. Yeah last time I did D's that were of the totally white/water soluble tabs was for my Wisdom Teeth and was Directed to him by friends that used him before("75"). He was a Long-haired Hipster for a Doc(76) and I specifically asked for a delodo or a Dilaudito @ #4's. I peered at the pad as he wrote for 45 No#4's. Just playing the average idiot who doesn't know his drugs! After a day I called him back and said "Gee-Whiz doc those pills were so small that when I opened them up over the bathroom sink they all fell down the Drain".Gee-wiz! Duh-ya ! And he proceeded to write me another of the exact same script. Being a rare occasion I sold none and shared a few with a friend ,but did most by myself. For someone to get D's these days would be a rare occasion or a Dire one. Though Roxanol seems to be the choice for the terminally ill. After awhile Morphine won't even cover up the pain. That's when Sublimaze comes in.;-) JAX
