Bromptons Cocktail comes in 2 basic forms, each with 2 variants : Morphine & Cocaine Elixir - With & without Chlorpromazine Diamorphine & Cocaine Elixir - With & without Chlorpromazine The active ingedients (Heroin/Morphine & Cocaine) are both 5mg/5ml chloroform water, although strengths can be varied to suit the patient. Prescribing of these compund elixirs is heavily discouraged now in the UK (except in terminal care), they prefer to prescribe just straight morphine disolved in chloroform water. Opium Tincture is sometimes called Nepenthe, but I have never heard of mixing opium & dexedrine...
