Date: 17 Nov 1997 22:52:26 GMT Some areas are more difficult to get needles than others. Go to a pharmacy, ask for "a ten pack of one cc insulin syringes." They may ask you for a diabetic I.D. Tell them you don't have it with you but you use "u-100 insulin." Sometimes they will ask you to fill out a piece of paper with your name and address. They don't ask for proof though so you can make up anything. Sometimes they just won't cooperate. Try another pharmacy. A ten pack only costs about $2.00. Don't ask for anything less than a ten pack! No one that uses insulin would need any fewer than ten. Besides they only cost $2.00. ==================================================================== From: (Todd weber) Newsgroups: alt.drugs.hard Subject: Re: where to get needles? But , if they ask what type of insulin you use tell them NPH . If they ask how much you use.. Tell them 45 units a day... 25 in the morning and 20 late in the afternoon or early evening.
