The last 8 years I have been to Thailand quite often, The last
trip was about 10 days ago. The jars or vials you are talking
about come mostly in 2 sizes a biggger one with a red or yellow
cap it contains appr. 1.8 grams and the far more common,
completely transparent, one with the number 5 printed on the
bottom, that contains appr.1.4 grams. (I used scales)

It looks like a lot more because it's uncompressed, that way it
comes from the lab. It is never transported that way so you will
never see it like that (fluffy) faraway from the prduction area.
( usually Burma, the policestations in Thailand are just used as
warehouses.....)

The price last week was 1200 baht for a nr 5 jar. (25baht=1u$) in
Bangkok. In europe or Holland at least you never see white dope
or tar, it is all brown from Turkey or Pakistan. I think because
chasing is so popular here and the white stuff can only be
sniffed or shot.

Also brown dope is very cheap here in Amsterdam compared to what
I read in this group ( 35 u$ a gram ) and of good quality.

I wonder what you peaople pay for good coke....
