That's a matter of opinion, Monde. I know I'm not the only poster here for whom pot makes me extremely uncomfortable. Added to withdrawal, I find it unbearable. I used to think that it helped, but I came around to the view that while I liked the idea that it helped, it actually didn't help at all -- if anything, it made things much worse. ================================================================ From: pez@manhattan.com (Gizmo) Subject: Re: Detox info Date: 1996/12/11 newsgroups: alt.drugs.hard Hey Pete, You're not alone, Marijuana never worked for me either. I used to love it the first two years I was doing drugs, then it seemed that my chemistry changed in such a way that I got weird on it. I tried to use it during withdrawal a few times and it made me want to cop dope even more. ================================================================= From: anon@penet.fi (Crash) Subject: Re: Detox info Date: 1996/12/10 newsgroups: alt.drugs.hard I agree somewhat about pot suring withdrawal. The ultimate WORST was acid during detox, and the second worst was cocaine during withdrawal. Like an idiot I tried it, knowing full well it was going to shoot my blood pressure out the window, many times to try and get energy. The only drug I found helpful (and of course not for everybody) was any kind of sedative/hypnotic such as halcion or valium. Still then I would doze for an hour and wake up sweating and screaming. At least it made one hour pass with out me knowing.
