Oh,
The liquor was spilt on the barroom floor
And the bar was closed for the night
When out of his hole came a little brown mouse
And sat in the pale moon light.
He lapped up the liquor on the bar room floor
And back on his haunches he sat
And all through the night ye could hear him shout
Bring on the gosh darned cat.
Well,
The cat came out from behind the bar
And gobbled up that mouse.
And the moral of the story is plain to see....
Never take a drink on the house!
