Difficulty level: intermediate to advanced (red)
Elevation gain/drop: 1088 ft / 1019 ft. (min. elev. 6244
max. elev. 7100)
Distance covered: 5 ½ miles to cemetery.
This is a personal favorite because of it’s quick descent,
the only tricky part of the trail. Start at the White
Mountain Road (Mormon Canyon) at Trona Drive going under
Interstate 80. Head up hill on White
Mountain Road for about 2 ½ miles. Take the first
right and head south towards the ridge overlooking the
interstate. Take the first left. It will take you east
along the ridgeline (a nice view) and head up to the top
of the hill. You will be looking for a turn off the right
that takes you out to a lookout point. Near the
lookout point you will see a turn to the right down a
steep ridge. This is your ride. It is fast and tricky in
places ending up in the wash in the bottom. Jump the
first wash and ride out the second one and you
won’t bend your rear wheel out of shape, then head up
the hill to the parking area in front of the cemetery
gates. Take the paved road down the hill into Green River.
THE TOWERS TRAIL

Difficulty level: moderate to intermediate (green)
Elevation gain/drop : 1021 ft./1021ft. (min. elev. 6244
max. elev. 7100)
Distance covered: 5 ¼ miles loop
Past the turn off to Cemetery drop, head up the hill until
the next left then stay on the left forks following
the ridge down to the towers area. You can stop here
for the view and turn around OR take off down the
rock for an advanced shortcut down to White Mountain
Road where you started.
REISER CANYON & RIDGE TRAIL
Home Page
Difficulty level: moderate to intermediate with a short
advanced section
Elevation gain/drop: 1181 ft / 1329 ft. (min. elev. 6099
max. elev. 7091)
Distance covered: 8 miles White Mountain Road to Green
River.
This trail is relatively easy with few exceptions, making
it the more difficult. A good rider can make quick
work of this trail. Take the White Mountain Road about
2 miles up to the first left onto the jeep trail. Take
the right fork and head down the hill. There are a few
climbs but not too strenuous. It’s the down hill that
makes this trail, which is about 2 miles to a very steep
drop to the bottom of Reiser Canyon behind the
horse corrals. Head south through the corrals to the
interstate. You can cross under the interstate here via
an aqueduct to the frontage road then to Green River,
otherwise, you will have to head west for a short
distance and get on Blue Rim Road to cross under the
interstate.
FIRST SPRING TRAIL
Home Page
Difficulty level: intermediate to advanced (red)
Elevation gain/drop: 695 ft. / 1014 ft. (min. elev. 6952
max elev. 7433)
Distance covered: 5 miles from trailhead to White Mountain
Road.
To get to the trailhead of this relatively short trail,
go up White Mountain Road approximately 6 miles
taking a left turn at the trailhead of Greasewood
Canyon Ridge. Head west by northwest for about 2 miles
where you come to a 4WD trail to the left again. This
trail is the advanced section with drops all the way.
About halfway down the trail you reach the springs. The
trail ends back at the trailhead for Reiser Canyon
and Tower trail.
