In 1924, a man by the name of Glen Waterman was researching Sasquatch in the great forests of Washington state. On May 18 of that year, while tending to the call of Mother Nature, Mr. Waterman heard a rustling in the bushes just behind him. When he turned around, he found himself stairing in the face of a giant, bald Sasquatch. Turns out that he had discovered a rare breed of Sasquatch that happened to be incapable of growing hair above the neck. This rare breed became known as the Glensqatch. Five years after the discovery of the Glensquatch, Mr.Jonathon Hillard was hiking in the mountain forests of Oregon and disappeared. From early June through the middle of September of the year 1929, Mr. Hillard's family had feared the worst, until that fateful day when he emerged from the forest with the teachings of The Great and All Knowing Glensquatch. For four months, Mr. Hillard spent his days and nights learning everything he could from The Great and All Knowing Glensquatch, who had rescued him from a pack of ravenous racoons. Once Jonathon got back home, he built the first Glennonite Sanctuary in the hills of South Dakota and became the founder and first High Minister of the Glennonite Faith. Since the 1930's, non-believers have looked upon our blessed brethren as crackpots who follow the teachings of what they call, "an entity who's existence is questionable at best." The Glennonite faithful persevere, knowing that physical proof of the existence of one's savior is not necessary when their teachings are obviously so wise and could not possibly have been made by any man, for man simply isn't that inteligent. Today, we have Glennonite Faith Sanctuaries in each of the continental United States, several Canadian Provinces, and in Pakistan. |
