31. Jacob6 Pickering (William5, Samuel4, Jonathan3, John2, John1) was born in Frederick County, Virginia 10 December 1756. Jacob died 28 February 1832 in Flushing, Belmont, Ohio, at 75 years of age.
He married twice. He married Mary Dillon 1 June 1778. Mary was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania about 1757. He married Lydia Adams in Frederick County, Virginia, 10 December 1778. Lydia was born in Frederick County, Virginia 1768. Lydia was the daughter of John Adams and Hannah unknown. Lydia died 24 February 1833 in Flushing, Belmont, Ohio, at 64 years of age. 2 Aug 1779 he was disowned from the Quaker Church for having married contrary to church discipline. 3 Jan 1785 he was reinstated. His fatherWilliam died and left him 1/2 of a tract of land at Brush Creek.

Richard Brown in Belmont County, Ohio, 10 August 1820.
