1. Isaac P. T.1 Nickerson was born in Canada about 1799. Isaac died 20 December 1879 in Fulton County, Illinois, at 80 years of age.
He married Alcey Jane Matney in Brown County, Indiana, 21 September 1842. Alcey was born in Kentucky 4 June 1822. Alcey was the daughter of Thomas Matney and Anna Carr. Alcey died 18 July 1907 in Fulton County, Illinois, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred 20 July 1907 in Fulton County, Illinois, Buckeye Cemetery.

Joshua2 Nickerson was born 3 February 1844.

Rosannah Anne Nickerson was born in Brown County, Indiana 30 April 1846. Rose died 26 July 1903 in Fulton
County, Illinois, at 57 years of age. Her body was interred in Fulton County, Illinois, Buckeye Cemetery. She married Joseph William Sherwood in Fulton County, Illinois, 24 March 1867. Joseph was born in
Cuba, Fulton County, Illinois 15 February 1846. Joseph was the son of Isaac Elmore Sherwood and Dorcas Elizabeth Sharp.
Joseph died 5 August 1933 in Smithfield, Fulton County, Illinois, at 87 years of age. He was living with his daughter Martha
Alice Foote at the time of his death.
She reports in her diary. June 19 1933 - Pap was awful sick to night. June 20 1933 - Pap is better June 23 1933 - Pap is suffering with his stomach and limbs June 24 1933 - Pap sufered all night June 25 1933 - Pap is resting better to night. June 26 1933 - he is awful sick (there are no entries until the following) July 19 1933 - he is still alive..... it sure is awful to see him suffer so. July 20 1933 - Pap is awful sick it takes all my time to care for him. all of us done all we could......he passed away aug 5 1933 at 6.30 o'clock sat, evening. O I have lost something in this world that I never will have a gain. that is a dear loveing father there is none to take his place he prayed all the time for to go home to rest. his suffering was awful the Dr held post mortum (Dr Cluts, Dr Westfall, Dr Davis) they found it to be appendicis (none of them knew what it was untill then.) it was to late.
His body was interred 8 August 1933 in Fulton County, Illinois, Buckeye Cemetery. (See Joseph William Sherwood for the continuation of this line.)

Fulton County, Illinois, 5 September 1875.

David H. Nickerson was born in Indiana about 1849. He married Laura Emma Currier
in Fulton County, Illinois, 27 January 1874. Laura was born in Fulton County, Illinois 1856.

Chloe Nickerson was born in Indiana about 1854. She married twice. She married
John B. Ackerson in Fulton County, Illinois, 30 April 1874. She married Noah Hill in Fulton
County, Illinois, 27 September 1903.

Martha P. Nickerson was born in Indiana about 1855.
