1. Ferdinand¹ Aug was born in Germany about 1807. Ferdinand died 13 April 1854 at 46 years of age.

He married Anna Maria Haager in Bavaria, 1839. Anna was born 12 September 1816. Anna was the daughter of Johann Haager and Magdalena unknown.

Ferdinand Aug and Anna Maria Haager had the following family:

2 i. Katherine² Aug was born in Germany 8 January 1841. Katherine died 14 February 1904 at 63 years of age.

3 ii. Magdalena Aug was born in Indiana about 1843.

4 iii. Andrew Aug was born in Indiana about 1845.

5 iv. Charlotte Aug was born in Indiana about 1847.

6 v. Mary Aug was born in St. Leon, Dearborn County, Indiana 30 September 1850. Mary died 31 March 1893 in Batesville, Ripley County, Indiana, at 42 years of age. She married Carl Johann Te Kuelve in Batesville, Ripley County, Indiana, 14 October 1880. Carl was born in Suedlohn, Westphalia, Prussia 1 June 1849. Carl was the son of Johann Heinrich Te Kuelve and Catherine Elisabeth Bestert. Carl died 21 August 1916 in Batesville, Ripley County, Indiana, at 67 years of age. Carl was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Ripley County, Indiana.⁽¹⁾ (See Carl Johann Te Kuelve for the continuation of this line.)

7 vi. Elizabeth Aug was born in Indiana about 1853.
