She married George Rudolf Tekulve in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, 11 September 1924. George was born in Batesville, Ripley County, Indiana 17 March 1893. George was the son of Carl Johann Te Kuelve and Mary Aug. George died 21 July 1930 in Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana, at 37 years of age.
