1. Sir John¹ Fineux was born in Swingfield, Kent, England about 1434. John died about 1527.

He married Elizabeth Apulderfield. Elizabeth was born about 1438. Elizabeth was the daughter of Sir William de Apulderfield. Lord Chief Justice of England (Chief Justice of the Court of the King's Bench) from 1495-1526.

Sir John Fineux and Elizabeth Apulderfield had the following family:

2 i. Jane² Fineux was born before 1496, the first event for which there is a recorded date. She married Esquire John Roper. John was born in Eltham, Kent, England about 1453. Born in Well Hall, Eltham, County Kent, England John was the son of John Roper and Margery Tattersall.

John died 7 April 1524 at 70 years of age. (See Esquire John Roper for the continuation of this line.)
