2 i. Hannah² Ballew was born in Virginia 16 November 1778. Hannah died 18 April 1812 in Kentucky, at 33 years of age. She married Major Childers in Amherst County, Virginia, about 1795. Major was born in Amherst County, Virginia 9 February 1774. Major was the son of Joseph Childers Sr. and Mary Farris. Major died 27 April 1845 in Clark County, Missouri, at 71 years of age.
